Seven Doon footballers selected for Bhawanipur FC U-18 side

Dehradun: Seven footballers from Dehradun will represent the Kolkata based Bhawanipur FC under-18 side this season. The local footballers were selected after two-day trials in the state capital, which concluded on Friday.

Bhawanipur FC is an established club of Kolkata. Established in 1910, Bhawanipur FC came to Uttarakhand for selecting talent for its under 18 team, which will play in the I-League (U-18) this time. Club’s grassroots head coach Aditya Chaterjee and assistant coach Surujeet Chokarboti conducted two day selection trails at the local Pavilion ground.
